Meet Tiffany Ashdown
Tiffany Ashdown is a young Hobart woman.
She is running as an independent candidate for Hobart City Council because she believes the community she lives in deserves someone at the table who will advocate for the people who are too often left out of the conversation.
Tiffany has chosen to put her hand up because she cares about Hobart, and because the issues she campaigns on — women’s rights and equality, environmental sustainability, and disability rights and inclusion — need a strong, real voice at the Council table.
As an independent, she answers to her community and no one else. Her positions are her own.
Women's Rights & Equality
Safe communities, equal representation, and accessible services for women and girls in Hobart. At a council level this means well-lit public spaces, accessible community services, strong council action on family and domestic violence, and a council that reflects the diversity of the community it serves.
Accessibility & Inclusion
Truly inclusive communities don’t treat accessibility as an afterthought. Tiffany will advocate for accessible infrastructure, inclusive council processes, and genuine consultation with the community on decisions that affect them.

Funding Goals

- Spreading Tiffany's message — Corflutes, flyers, digital advertising, and an accessible website so every Hobartian can hear what this campaign stands for.
- Bringing the community together — Forums, market stalls, and community events with accessible materials so everyone can participate.
- Giving back through mutual aid — Because we don't wait to be elected to make a difference. A portion of every contribution goes directly back into the Hobart community through a community pantry, and covering costs for people with disabilities to engage with the campaign.
